What should I expect?
Working with an SFX artist should feel like an exhilirating experience. We specialize in practical effects such as creature designs, prosthetics, props and set design. Expect collaborative efforts to enhance the visual impact of your project.
What should I wear?
Always wear something that is easy to remove (removing a t-shirt after a full face of SFX makeup is very tricky), and something that you wouldn't bother if it got stained.
Are you available outside of Puerto Rico?
Yes! Let us know your needs and we will make it happen.
How much time does a makeup look take?
This is a question that has no definite answer. From half an hour up to six, it all depends on the complexity of your project and what you want to achieve.
What materials do you use for your looks?
SFX makeup uses various tools and materials. From prosthetics made from silicone, latex, and gelatin, to create realistic wounds, scars, and other effects to Spatulas, airbrushes, sculpting tools. The glue used for prosthetics is a long-lasting medical grade glue that requires specific removers.
